BIO:
Mark Daman Thomas is a practising musician based in Powys, Wales. Active as a songwriter and performer since 2004, he has released music in his band’s Islet and Attack + Defend and his solo project 'Farm Hand'. Islet signed to Fire Records in 2019 and the latest album ‘Soft Fascination was released in September 2023. Based in rural mid Wales he has over 20 years live and touring experience, including USA, South Korea, Japan and Europe. He has played many international festivals including Primavera, SXSW and Eurosonic. Mark has recorded live sessions for BBC Radio 1, BBC 6Music and BBC Radio 3. Mark co-founded and runs independent label Shape Records. He is an educator as a lecturer at the University of Gloucestershire and a visiting lecturer at University of South Wales.
